EFPIA is delighted to announce that the call for applications for the 2020 Connecting Healthcare Awards is now open. This Awards seeks to turn the spotlight on innovative collaborative projects that have benefitted the lives of patients across Europe. To be eligible, projects shall showcase successful multi-stakeholder collaborations, on national and EU level, that include patient organisations and industry partners. Projects ended in 2018-2019-2020 are all eligible. Applicants will have to choose to run for one of the three following categories:
- Prevention & Awareness Awards
- Service Delivery Awards
- Fight against Covid-19
Three categories, five prizes!Five prizes will be awarded to the winning projects: besides these three categories, the jury will grant a prize to the most innovative programme, and to the programme that best showcased a ‘connecting healthcare’ approach. The prizes consist of a grant of €10.000 to the overall “Connecting Healthcare” winner and €5.000 to the other categories. Applications will be assessed by a multi-stakeholder panel. To share best practice and help others to benefit from the innovative approaches taken by the award entrants, the entries for the 2020 Awards will be collated in to the Connecting Healthcare Guide – you can have a look at the last edition here.
