Study Protocol of a Randomized Controlled Trial of Home-Based Computerized Executive Function Training for Children With Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy (CP) is frequently associated with specific cognitive impairments, such as executive dysfunction which are related to participation and quality of life (QOL). The proposed study will examine whether a computerized executive function (EF) training programme could provide superior benefits for executive functioning, participation, QOL and brain plasticity, as compared to usual care.

NEU Screen Shows High Accuracy in Detecting Cognitive Impairment in Older Persons Living With HIV

The NEUrocognitive (NEU) Screen is a practical tool proposed to screen for HIV-associated cognitive impairment in the clinical setting. This is a pencil-and-paper method that can be applied rapidly (≤10 minutes for administration) and has no copyright limitations. In this study, we aimed at investigating its diagnostic accuracy in an older population of persons living with HIV (PLWH), with cutoffs set at 30, 40, 50, and 60 years.

Resting-State Functional Connectivity Dynamics in Healthy Aging: An Approach Through Network Change Point Detection

This study aims at assessing the impact of age on the short-term temporal dynamics of the topological properties of the undirected and weighted whole-brain functional connectivity (FC) networks. We studied the association between the participant's age and the number of significant change points detected through the Network Change Point Detection algorithm.
